Federal Government Commits to Digital Inclusion

The Federal Government has announced a strategic partnership with Engausa Global Tech Hub to enhance digital inclusion initiatives, particularly in underserved and marginalized communities across Nigeria.

This commitment was made by the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, during an official visit to the Hub in Kano. Represented by Mr. Babajide Ajayi, the Minister praised Engausa’s grassroots-driven approach to technology and its impact on youth empowerment.

“We are impressed by what Engausa has accomplished in just five years,” Ajayi stated. “The Ministry is eager to support and collaborate with forward-thinking initiatives like this to bridge the digital divide and extend the benefits of the digital economy to all Nigerians.”

Showcasing Local Innovation

The visit coincided with Engausa Global Tech Hub’s fifth anniversary celebration, where the organization unveiled several homegrown technology products designed to address everyday challenges through sustainable, locally relevant solutions.

Engr. Muhammad Habu Ringim, Founder of Engausa, highlighted the importance of these innovations:

“These solutions are not only affordable and practical but also demonstrate the untapped potential of local talent to shape Nigeria’s technological future.”

Expanding Digital Access Nationwide

The partnership marks a significant step toward empowering more Nigerians through technology and expanding digital access to underserved areas. The Federal Government emphasized that digital inclusion remains a national priority, with Engausa serving as a model for community-led innovation.

This collaboration is expected to accelerate Nigeria’s digital transformation while creating opportunities for economic growth and technological advancement in marginalized communities.
