Wike Allocates Funds for Completion of 14 Road Projects in FCT
Minister Presents N1.78 Trillion Budget Proposal for 2025
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has announced plans to complete 14 ongoing road projects across Abuja as part of the N1.78 trillion proposed 2025 FCT statutory budget.

The minister made this disclosure on Wednesday while defending the budget proposal before the joint Senate and House of Representatives Committees on FCT in Abuja.
Project Distribution and Implementation
Wike explained that the road projects will be executed in both the city center and satellite towns, with implementation handled by two key agencies:
- Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA)
- Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD)
Key Projects Highlighted
Among the major projects earmarked for completion are:
- Completion of Roads B6 and B12
- Full scope development of Arterial Road N20 from Northern Parkway to Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX)
- Provision of engineering infrastructure to Guzape Districts
- Provision of engineering infrastructure to Wuye District
- Provision of engineering infrastructure to Maitama II District
The budget allocation reflects the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and connectivity across the Federal Capital Territory.
