JAMB Releases 2025 Mock UTME Results: How to Check Yours

Results Now Available for Candidates Nationwide

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The mock exam, conducted last Thursday across Nigeria, serves as a preparatory test for the main UTME.

How to Check Your Mock UTME Result

Candidates can access their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered for the examination.

Examination Participation Statistics

Initial registration figures showed 200,115 candidates, with final participation dropping slightly to 200,113 after withdrawals. However, only 126,181 candidates successfully sat for the exam due to:

• 73,844 absentees on exam day
• 88 candidates who failed biometric verification

Result Release Status

JAMB has currently released results for 115,735 candidates, with 10,446 results still being processed. The Board expects to release these remaining results shortly.

Board Addresses Examination Challenges

JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin acknowledged some technical delays during the examination, attributing them to new features implemented to enhance the main UTME’s conduct. The Board expressed appreciation for candidates’ patience and understanding.

Purpose of the Mock Examination

The mock UTME serves dual purposes:

1. Familiarizes candidates with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment
2. Allows JAMB to evaluate new examination innovations before the main UTME
