JAMB Releases 2025 Mock UTME Results: How to Check Your Score

Abuja, Nigeria – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of results for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted nationwide.

Results Now Available for Candidates

Candidates who participated in the mock examination can now access their results to evaluate their performance before the main UTME. The results were confirmed by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin in an official statement released from Abuja on Sunday.

How to Check Your Mock UTME Result

To access their results, candidates should:

• Send “MOCKRESULT” as a text message
• Use the phone number registered for the examination
• Send to either 55019 or 66019

Examination Participation Statistics

The mock UTME saw significant participation with:

• 200,115 initial registrations
• 200,113 final registered candidates after withdrawals
• 73,844 absent candidates
• 88 candidates who failed biometric verification

This resulted in 126,181 candidates successfully taking the examination. As of now:

• 115,735 results have been released
• 10,446 results are still being processed

JAMB Addresses Examination Challenges

The Board acknowledged some technical difficulties during the examination, stating:

“The Board acknowledges the delays experienced by some candidates during the examination and regrets any inconvenience caused. These challenges are anticipated due to the new features implemented to enhance the overall conduct of the main UTME.”

JAMB emphasized that the mock examination serves two key purposes:

1. Giving candidates experience with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment
2. Allowing the Board to evaluate new examination innovations
