Wike Allocates N1.78 Trillion FCT Budget for Completion of 14 Road Projects
Key Infrastructure Projects Prioritized in 2025 Budget
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced plans to complete 14 ongoing road projects across Abuja using part of the N1.78 trillion proposed 2025 FCT statutory budget.
The minister made this disclosure on Wednesday while defending the 2025 FCT budget proposal before joint committees of the Senate and House of Representatives on FCT matters.

Project Distribution and Implementation
Wike explained that the road projects, located in both the city center and satellite towns, will be executed by two key agencies:
- Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA)
- Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD)
Major Projects Highlighted
Among the key infrastructure projects earmarked for completion are:
- Completion of Roads B6 and B12
- Full scope development of Arterial Road N20 from Northern Parkway to Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX)
- Provision of engineering infrastructure to Guzape Districts
- Provision of engineering infrastructure to Wuye District
- Provision of engineering infrastructure to Maitama II District
The minister emphasized that these projects form part of the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and connectivity across the federal capital territory.
