Pre-Meeting Proceedings

Before the official commencement of the meeting, President Tinubu performed several important duties:

Tribute to Late Minister

At approximately 2:30 pm, just before the meeting began, council members observed a minute of silence in honor of the late Dubem Onyia. The former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and FEC member passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 73.
