In another case, a mechanic disappeared with his client’s 2011 Toyota Camry, leading to the arrest of the buyer in Gwarinpa. The command also recovered an official Hilux vehicle stolen by its assigned driver in Kaduna.

Massive Anti-Drug Operations
The command conducted extensive anti-drug raids between April 30 and May 1 in collaboration with the Army, local hunters, and other security agencies. These operations resulted in:
- Seizure of cannabis, methamphetamine, and other narcotics
- Recovery of 149 mobile phones and 14 laptops
- Confiscation of 15 motorcycles and 10 POS machines

Security Tips for Residents
Commissioner Adewale advised vehicle owners to adopt security measures:
“We strongly recommend installing car trackers, pedal locks, and steering wheel locks. These devices are no longer luxuries but necessities in today’s security environment,” he emphasized.
The police boss also stressed the importance of community vigilance: “Knowing your neighbors and their activities can significantly help in crime prevention.”

Commitment to Continued Security
The commissioner reiterated the command’s dedication to enhancing security in the FCT, promising that all suspects would face prosecution after investigations.
“We remain relentless in our fight against criminal elements. The safety and security of all residents remain our top priority,” Adewale concluded.
