Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended 35 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Auchi, Edo State.

The suspects were arrested in two key locations: Vigilante Street, off Sabo Ibenafo Road, and the Back of Yak area of the town. The operation followed credible intelligence linking them to fraudulent online activities.

During the arrests, EFCC operatives seized several items, including:

• 9 cars
• 11 laptop computers
• 46 mobile phones
• 2 smart watches
