“By the time the 2027 general elections roll around, the ADC will stand out as the strongest opposition party in Yobe State, with aspirations to reclaim the Government House,” Waziri stated during the inauguration.

The party leadership reported substantial recent membership growth, citing one prominent Damaturu figure who joined with over 1,000 supporters and another who brought more than 500 new members. Waziri noted that new members are being received daily, with the newly inaugurated committees expected to formalize and accelerate this process.
