NDLEA Thwarts Attempt to Smuggle Cocaine in Private Parts, Hijab Disguise
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted a woman attempting to export cocaine concealed in her private parts, stomach, and a specially modified handbag while disguised in a hijab.

Airport Interception in Port Harcourt
Ihensekhien Miracle Obehi was arrested at the Port Harcourt International Airport on May 3, 2025, while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight to Iran via Doha. Acting on credible intelligence, NDLEA officers discovered:
- 3 wraps of cocaine hidden in her private parts
- 2 large parcels concealed in false compartments of her handbag
- 67 pellets of cocaine swallowed internally
Drug Smuggling Details
According to NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, Obehi claimed she intended to swallow 70 pellets but could only manage 67, resorting to hiding the remaining three in her private parts. The total weight of recovered cocaine was 2.523kg.
