APC Chieftain Accuses Baba-Ahmed, Galadima of “Cheating the North”

Northern Leaders Under Fire for Alleged Poor Representation

Kano, Nigeria – Musa Kwankwaso, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kano State, has launched scathing criticism against two northern political figures, accusing them of failing the region during their tenure in government.

Accusations Against Baba-Ahmed and Galadima

Kwankwaso specifically targeted former Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) chieftain Buba Galadima. He claimed both politicians “cheated the North” through their long government service without delivering tangible benefits to the region.

“Baba-Ahmed is among those who allegedly cheated the North by their long service in governments but have nothing to show as their contributions to the region they are today so called defending,” Kwankwaso stated.

2027 Election Predictions

The APC leader dismissed the influence of both politicians, asserting they cannot prevent northern voters from supporting President Tinubu in the 2027 elections. He described them as “frustrated” individuals who have lost political relevance.

“Let me say this, whether they like it or not, Bola Tinubu will win his second term and win the entire North with a landslide victory,” Kwankwaso declared confidently.

Defending Tinubu’s Administration

Kwankwaso praised several initiatives by the Tinubu administration benefiting northern states, including:

• Duty-free importation of essential goods that reduced prices
• Expansion of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) infrastructure across northern states
• New CNG stations in Borno, Kaduna, and Kwara, with Kano soon to follow

He credited these developments for improving economic conditions in the region, making northern voters more likely to support Tinubu’s reelection.

Moral Authority Questioned

Kwankwaso questioned the moral standing of Baba-Ahmed, Galadima, and former Attorney General Abubakar Malami to criticize the current administration, citing their alleged lack of achievements for the North during their time in government.

“The two personalities lack moral courage to talk about the Tinubu administration because they lack the moral rectitude to do so,” he stated.

The APC chieftain’s comments highlight growing political tensions in northern Nigeria as the country prepares for the next election cycle.
