Kollington Declares Himself King of Fuji Music, Slams K1 De Ultimate’s Claim

Veteran Fuji Star Makes Bold Claim
Legendary Fuji musician Ayinla Kollington has boldly declared himself the undisputed king of Fuji music, directly challenging his colleague Wasiu Ayinde (K1 De Ultimate) who has long been associated with the title.
The Controversial Interview
During a recent interview with Agbaletu TV, Kollington addressed several burning issues, including his absence from K1’s mother’s burial and their strained relationship:
“I called him several times, he didn’t pick up and didn’t return the call. I also remembered that on New Year’s Day, I called him but he didn’t respond. So, I left him alone.”
Kollington’s Fiery Response
The veteran musician didn’t hold back when addressing K1’s claim to Fuji music supremacy:
“If it is because he is the head of the princes, it is in his hometown in Ijebuland, not in the Fuji industry. Even if he says he wants to be the head of the fuji industry, there is a song (he sang it), does he want to be God?”
Asserting His Authority
Kollington firmly stated his position in the Fuji music hierarchy:
“I am the authority of fuji music in Nigeria and abroad. When they ask who is the head of Fuji Music, both here and overseas, my name will come up.”
The Ongoing Fuji Music Rivalry
This isn’t the first time the two Fuji legends have clashed over leadership claims in the genre. K1 had previously shared his version of Fuji music’s origins in an interview on Dele Adeyanju’s YouTube channel, stating:
“It was me and Sikiru that began fuji music. Fuji existed before I began singing, but fuji music caused me a great deal of pain.”

In related news, K1 recently made headlines when he confirmed his membership in the Celestial Church of Christ despite being a Muslim, surprising many fans.
