JAMB Releases 2025 UTME Results: How to Check Your Scores
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. Candidates can now access their scores through multiple channels.

Result Statistics and Performance Overview
According to JAMB’s announcement on Friday, May 9, 2025, approximately 1.5 million candidates scored below 200 marks, marking one of the lowest performances in recent years. The breakdown reveals:
- 4,756 candidates scored 320 and above
- 12,414 candidates scored 300 and above
How to Check Your UTME Result via SMS
JAMB has maintained its mobile-based result-checking service for the over 1.95 million registered candidates. To check your result:
- Open the messaging app on your registered mobile number
- Type “RESULT” followed by your JAMB Registration Number
- Send to either 55019 or 66019
- Wait for the response containing your scores
Note: This service costs N50, deducted from your airtime.

For a more detailed view, candidates can access their results online:
- Visit JAMB e-facility portal
- Log in with your registration number or email and password
- Click on “Print Examination Slip”
- View your complete UTME results
