Gunmen Attack Zamfara Secondary School, Kill Retired Teacher and Abduct Three

Violent Incident at Government Day Secondary School
Zamfara State – Armed assailants targeted Government Day Secondary School in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State on Saturday night, leaving one dead and three kidnapped.
Yazid Abubakar, the Zamfara State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the attack occurred around 10 p.m. when no students were present at the school premises.
Details of the Attack
The gunmen reportedly breached the school’s perimeter fence through the staff quarters area. During the assault, retired teacher Malam Kabir Abdullah was killed after resisting abduction attempts.
“Three females, including the retired teacher’s wife, were kidnapped during the incident,” Abubakar stated. “Our officers are currently on the ground working to ensure the victims’ safe rescue.”
