Barr. Aida Ogwuche hits the ground running, announces the release of unlawfully detained Idoma youths

The People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Barr. Aida Nath Ogwuche, has hit the ground running as she announced the release of an 80-year-old man and others unlawfully detained over the killing of a miyetti allah leader in Benue State.

Hon. Ogwuche announced the release of the innocent Idoma youths on her verified social media handle on Friday following her intervention through the legal team led by Idoko Dino Godwin.

“I am pleased to announce that the innocent Idoma youths and elderly men who were unlawfully detained have regained their freedom following my intervention through the legal team led by Idoko Dino Godwin.”

“This outcome is a victory for justice, the rule of law, and the collective resolve of everyone who refused to remain silent in the face of injustice. I sincerely thank all those who lent their voices and stood in solidarity with the affected families in the pursuit of justice.” She writes.

The Enone Lioness appreciated the relevant authorities for taking the necessary steps that culminated in the release of the detained innocent citizens.

She expressed the hope that this intervention will serve as a reminder that justice, due process, and respect for the fundamental rights and dignity of every citizen must always remain paramount.

“As always, I remain steadfast in my commitment to standing with the Idoma people, defending the rights of the vulnerable, and ensuring that the voices of innocent citizens are never ignored. Together, we will continue to uphold justice, protect human dignity, and build a society where fairness and the rule of law prevail.” She writes.

This uncommon intervention has been applauded and described as hope restoration by her teaming supporters and the Idoma youths worldwide.

The Enone youths urged the PDP flagbearer to keep up the good work as she embarks on building her career and to secure Enone come 2027.
