Nigerian football captain Ahmed Musa has made a dramatic return to the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming Unity Cup Tournament in London. The Kano Pillars star, Nigeria’s all-time leading World Cup goalscorer, was named in coach Eric Chelle’s 25-man roster after missing national team action for over a year.

Coach Chelle has also selected a 21-man squad for Nigeria’s June 6 friendly against Russia at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium. This roster includes captain William Ekong, defender Olaoluwa Aina, and forwards Victor Boniface and Sadiq Umar.
