Popular content creator, KieKie said many Nigerians have increased their work rates but have nothing to show because of high inflation.
The media personality said this in an Instagram story on Monday.
KieKie said despite working harder, many Nigerians remain poor because of ridiculously expensive prices of goods.
“We’ve all doubled our hustle, but e no too dey show because things are ridiculously and unbelievably expensive. May God help us,” she said.
KieKie’s comment comes amid Afrobeats sensation, Davido’s recent controversial remark about the state of the Nigerian economy.
Speaking on The Big Homies House podcast, Davido advised black Americans considering relocating from the United States following Donald Trump’s recent presidential election victory not to consider Nigeria.
Davido said, “It is not cool back home. The economy is in shambles.”
