Popular comedian, Ajebo has challenged Nigeria’s top music talents to collaborate to build a standard venue for their performances back home.
Daily Sun can report that Nigerian artistes are among the biggest in Africa, with the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and Asake having sold out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.
Ajebo said instead of splurging on luxury cars in 2025, the artistes should consider pooling funds to build a 20,000 to 50,000-capacity concert venue in the country.
He said this could yield enormous returns on investment.
“Our artistes perform in arenas and gigantic halls all over the world but when they come home, apart from Eko Hotels (6,000 capacity) there are no standard arenas for concerts.
“We can’t tell them how to spend their money but if two to three of them decide to put funds together, rather than buying luxury cars in 2025, they can build a 20k-50k and 100x their investment,” he stated.
