After a substantial progress has been made in area of fight against insecurity in Anambra State, Nollywood actors have revealed their intention of returning to Anambra State for their production.

It will be recalled that insecurity had forced many notable actors and actresses to flee Anambra State and relocated their business to Delta and other neighbouring states.

However, Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo received accolades from Veteran Nollywood actor Steve Alajemba, also known as Uwaezuoke, for transforming Anambra State into an investment destination and restoring people’s confidence in security.

Alajemba stated this during a facility tour of Soludo’s projects in Onitsha, led by the Ifeanyi Ubah political and media family.

The tour was facilitated by Chinedu Obigwe, National Coordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum.

Alajemba specifically praised the Soludo administration’s transformation of the Ochanja roundabout, which he described as a former international dump centre.

He recalled an incident where his Jeep was submerged by floodwaters in the area, highlighting the significant improvements made by the Soludo government.

“This is what successive administrations could not do in many years, but within three years, Soludo has transformed Anambra into an investment destination. I must commend him. He has done well for his people,” Alajemba said.

Notably, Alajemba had previously been a critic of the Soludo administration but has since changed his stance after witnessing the governor’s projects firsthand.

He described Soludo as the best and expressed optimism that businesses that fled Anambra due to a hostile business environment would return.

The Ifeanyi Ubah political and media family, led by Kamen Chuks Ogbonna, also expressed their support for the Soludo administration, citing the governor’s efforts as being in line with their philosophy.

Sunday Ego, a resident of Onitsha, echoed Alajemba’s sentiments, praising Soludo’s impact on security in the area.

“Today, if you drop a pin in Onitsha, you can come back and pick it up because nobody will touch it. The security in Onitsha is super since the launch of Agunechemba and Udo Ga-achi,” Ego said.

With Soludo’s administration gaining recognition for its transformative efforts, Anambra State’s future looks brighter than ever.

Soludo had recently signed the state’s 2025 budget, totaling N606.9 billion, aimed at driving transformative growth across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

Additionally, the governor had expressed his mission to turn Anambra into an investment hub through strategic partnerships with critical stakeholders .
