Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Inem Peter has opened up on why she cannot be romantically involved with any of her male colleagues in the entertainment industry.
In an exclusive chat with Saturday Sun, the screen diva shared her candid opinion about relationships, marriage, and the qualities she desires in a man.
When asked about the kind of men that appeal to her, Inem Peter revealed her preference for tall, humble, and generous men, adding that great sexual chemistry is a vital ingredient in any relationship she would consider.
“I like tall guys, humble; he has to be a giver of, then sex is very important. A stingy, deceitful, or selfish guy turns me off. A good sense of humour is a turn-on for me, not sarcasm, though. I also like an honest man; tell me the truth no matter how hard it might seem,” she added.
Despite the abundance of handsome actors in Nollywood, Inem made it clear that she has no interest in dating or marrying a fellow actor. “Ah, colleague ke? I beg ooo. I can’t. Before now, maybe I would have considered that, but coming this far in the industry, I can’t think of settling with a Nollywood actor. It’s a no-no for me. The very handsome actors that I would have considered are so talented that you can’t tell when they are acting or being real,” she said.
On the growing fear of failed marriages in the entertainment industry, Inem admitted to having her reservations but remains optimistic about giving marriage a chance.
“Yes, I am oh, but I am giving marriage a chance soon. Keep your fingers crossed,” she concluded.
