A presidential spokesman, Daniel Bwala has alleged that some television guests and anchors are conspiring against him.
Bwala said this in an X post on Saturday but did not give further details of the alleged conspiracy.
In a statement on November 14, the presidency announced Bwala’s appointment as Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications (State House).
Bwala’s appointment stirred controversy both within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and opposition circles, given his former role as Official Spokesperson of the 2023 PDP Presidential Campaign.
Days after his appointment, Bwala assembled State House correspondents and declared that he had replaced Ajuri Ngelale as official spokesman to President Bola Tinubu.
But in a follow-up statement following the declaration, the presidency said Bwala’s role had been redesignated as ‘Special Adviser Policy Communication’.
Bwala said, “When you come against an overwhelming conspiracy of some television guests and anchors against you pushing an agenda and you are helpless; just pray to your God. He will expose them for who they are. It has started.”
