Tems breaks silence after Grammy win – The Sun Nigeria

Grammy-award winner and songstress, Tems has finally spoken out following her stunning triumph at the 2025 Grammys for Best African Music Performance.

The gifted musician, who has been making waves in the music business, expressed appreciation and humility on social media, attributing her success to divine intervention.

Tems won the coveted prize for her song ‘Love Me JeJe’ ahead of other renowned musicians including as Yemi Alade, Asake, Chris Brown, Davido, Lojay, and Burna Boy.

This marks Tems’ second Grammy win, a testament to her hard work and dedication to her craft.

The award-winning singer has received eight Grammy nominations in her career, including three at this year’s ceremony.

Tems’ delight was evident as she posted photos of herself, her mother, and her team on Instagram and X, beaming with pride and joy.

She refers to herself as a “Child of Grace,” noting that her accomplishments are a result of God’s favor and grace.

Tems’ social media posts were filled with gratitude and praise.

She also took to X where she wrote: “GOD DID” and “Special Baby, trophy baby”, accompanied by emojis trophies and sparkles.
