The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has visited Plateau State following the violent attacks in Bassa Local Government Area that left dozens dead. The police chief’s condolence visit comes as authorities intensify efforts to restore peace in the troubled region.

According to a statement from Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP was accompanied by top police officials including:
