Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has assigned portfolios to the six Commissioners who were sworn-in on Monday.
They are Hon. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu, Commissioner for Information and Communications,
Hon. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo, Commissioner for Water Resources and Energy and Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, Commissioner for Education
Others are (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Andrew Ijegbai, Commissioner for Ministry and Mining Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development.
A statement by Secretary to Edo State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, which announced the portfolios, said “All Commissioners are expected to resume at their various Ministries with immediate effect”.
