My interesting Christmas memories as a child are so many, but the one I miss so much is how every Christmas, my dad and mum would buy us Christmas clothes and shoes. The sitting room will be decorated with colourful lights. The holiday season will also make my parents give us access to watch home videos. I also miss my mum’s special Banga stew, rice and fried chicken. She will also make a salad and delicious bitter-leaf soup with pounded yam.
This year, I am most grateful for life, being that I survived an armed robbery attack with four straight gunshots on my left leg and my two hands. Although I bled, my God intervened, and in one month, the deep hole on my lap and other wounds healed. I was also free from high blood sugar. God did wonders for me. I am grateful forever.
I intend to spend this Christmas with my family and also travel to Benin Republic for a short vacation.
