Renowned international businessman, Hopkins Ojo, CEO of Ojeki Integrated Services Limited and a member of the Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria (AMP), has thrown his weight behind the upcoming comedy show, ‘Comedy Appointment with MC Obaro.’
The event is slated for November 22, 2024, in Benin City.
Ojo expressed his commitment to fostering the growth of the entertainment industry in Edo State. He believes that ‘Comedy Appointment with MC Obaro’ will be a standout event of 2024, given its impressive lineup of A-list comedians and musicians.
Highlighting Edo State’s rich history in the entertainment industry, Ojo stated, “Edo State has been a pioneer in Nigeria’s entertainment scene since the 1960s. We aim to continue this legacy and make the fourth edition of ‘Comedy Appointment with MC Obaro’ a truly special event.”
The event, which will take place at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub on Airport Road, will feature comedy giants like I Go Dye, Akpororo, Mr. Paul, MC Pashun, and rap sensation Magnito. Additionally, MC Casino, Sarkin Dariya, and MC Alamano will be part of the star-studded lineup, promising a night of non-stop laughter and entertainment.
Ojo emphasized that the show will provide a platform for MC Obaro to solidify his position as a top-tier comedian. With over a decade of experience and performances at major comedy and music events across Nigeria, MC Obaro is poised to captivate the audience with his unique brand of humour.
