Arivla, an e-commerce platform for indigenous fashion, is set to host its Asoebi Party and Fashion Show on December 13 in Lagos, to celebrate Nigeria’s creative and cultural diversity.
Themed “Old Money vs New Money,” the event will feature a fashion exhibition, runway show, and after-party.
Founder and Chief Executive of Arivla, Dr Ivy Okike-Fatusin commenting on the upcoming event, said: “Our goal is to provide global visibility to Nigeria’s exceptional vendors and designers.”
The exhibition will include fabric vendors, accessory designers, and a unique “Trade Station” in partnership with Purple Entertainment, where attendees can swap, donate, or auction pre-loved items.
Top designers like Bibi Lawrence, HRH Luxury, and Funtok Fabrics will showcase collections blending traditional elegance with contemporary trends. Attendees can explore and purchase Asoebi fabrics and accessories while enjoying a day that combines fashion with celebration.
Okike-Fatusin emphasized the event’s would attract international investors, boost export, and stimulate local production.
“Designed to embrace both traditional and modern styles, the show aims to celebrate African culture, fashion, and significant life milestones,” she said.
